ABSTRACT

Se presenta el caso clínico de un síndrome de Cantrell que esta caracterizado por cinco defectos que incluyen: ectopia cordis, diafragma anterior y pericardio diafragmático. Los exámenes complementarios prenatales permitieron el diagnostico de este cuadro, los mismo que fueron complementados con un estudio post mortem realizado luego de una intervención cesárea.


The clinical case of a syndrome of Cantrell is presented that is characterized by five defects that include: ectopia cordis, omphalocele, disruption of the distal sternum, opening in the anterior diaphragm, and diaphragmatic pericardium. The prenatal complementary exams allowed the diagnosis of this picture, they were supplemented with a study post mortem carried out after a caesarean intervention.
